Your purpose as a contestant is to deliver your best speech; your purpose as a judge is to choose a winning speech; and your purpose as a leader is to provide an experience that is encouraging, inspiring and educational for all.

Organising a successful Toastmasters event is one of the most satisfying and rewarding experiences for any Toastmaster. And, every year Toastmasters of all levels have the opportunity to experience this satisfaction as they organise contests for their Clubs, Areas, Divisions and Districts.

This interactive workshop will equip you with the tools and knowledge required to run and organise a successful Toastmasters contest.

This workshop will cover:

  • Understanding the new contest rule changes
  • Organising an in-person contest
  • Organising an online contest
  • Judging effectively

This event is one of many educational experiences within the 'Central Division Education and Training Calendar'.

Please log in regularly to 'toastmastersa.org/events.html' and register for these events as they become available.
The 2020-2021 Education & Training calendar of events are available online.

This workshop is being coordinated by Matthew Welch (Outgoing Division Director).

Please encourage your fellow club members to attend!
