About the program

The Speechcraft program delivers a wide range of communication and learning experiences that have been prepared for the novice in mind. You don’t need any experience!

Each participant is provided with a professionally published Toastmaster International Speechcraft Manual, plus a range of learning materials, which will be referred to throughout the entire program.

The program is delivered in a relaxed atmosphere and class sizes are generally limited to 10 participants.

What happens during each session?

Every week you will have the opportunity to deliver a speech on a topic of your choice, based on the skill sets developed during the course sessions. These speeches will range from introductory level to more advanced speeches on a topic of your choice.

You will also get to participate in impromptu speaking that is designed to help you learn to think on your feet.

Our experienced Toastmasters will deliver educational workshops that will assist with the development of your public speaking skills. You will also receive constructive feedback that recognises your strengths and provides valuable guidance on how you can better improve future speeches.

Each participant is encouraged to embrace the Toastmasters International motto

'Where Leaders are made'

At the end of the course you will receive a signed and authorised Certificate of Completion which you can proudly display and add to your resume.
