Membership of a Toastmasters Club
Anyone over the age of 18 years can be a member of a Toastmaster Club.
There is a fee to join Toastmasters, the cost of the New Member Kit , a club fee and then the Club members will formally vote you in as a member.
On joining Toastmasters you will be asked to pay -
- A ‘once off’ joining fee of US$20 which include the New Member Kit
- A six month pro rated registration fee of US$27 or less
- A Club fee
Each Club is slightly different and will have different Club fees to cover venue costs, stationery and refreshments. Enquire with the Vice President of Membership at the Club for the exact cost.
Where is the value in my membership?
- You will become a member of Toastmasters International and open to all communications, contests, and speaking & leadership opportunities.
- You will receive both Competent Communicator and Competent Leadership manuals
- You will receive educational materials on how to improve your speaking skills
- Each month a 'Toastmaster' magazine will be posted to you
- Each Club will offer you their own bound Club manual and personalised Toastmaster badge.
